Line and Shape
Main Photograph: Statehouse Treeline in Providence, Rhode Island
I took the photo vertically from about 20-30 feet back from the beginning of the brick walkway as shown. I crouched down a little bit to get a better angle of the treeline. I attempted to use the Rule of Thirds in the photograph by centering the treeline, and lining the marble squares close to the thirds. I believe this photo is dynamic due to all of the lines drawing your attention down to the man walking in the center of the photograph.

These are the photographs before the exposure was edited as well as before they were converted to B&W.
DCIM Compositions
Main Photograph: Blurry Hallway
This photo was taken in the main hallway of SBRHS, about 25-30 feet away from my target. The point of view is straight on and horizontal. The Rule of Thirds lines up with the darker columns in the hallway perfectly. This photo is dynamic due to all of the leading lines drawing your attention further down the hall.

Texture and Pattern
Main Photograph: Bricks
I took this photograph very close to the brick pallets, and from slightly above them. The photo is horizontal and slightly adheres the the Rule of Thirds due to the shadow of the taller brick and the beam of sunshine coming from ahead. This photograph is an example of texture, because it captures the rough texture of the bricks. This photograph displays the best exposure of all the photos in this collection because light, dark and mid-shades are all visible.
Feature Photograph: Tree Tunnels
This photograph may be slightly underexposed due to the lack of light where I took it. Under the archway looks very dark as so some of the shadows.
Feature Photograph: Pierces Beach
This photo may be overexposed because the position at which I took the photo was against the sunlight. Certain areas of the sand and their divots look almost too contrasted due to the exposure.

Playgrounds and Powerlines
The Swing image best demonstrates the Rule of Thirds due to the two bars, and the centered swing. Handle (center view) best shows the consideration of point of view to get a more interesting composition and also leads the viewers eyes from the first handle to further handles behind. This image is the best example of composition due to its point of view and how the image leads to the center. The image Powerlines best demonstrates negative space vs. positive space due to the sky and trees being the power lines only background. Finally, the image Swirl best shows proper exposure.
