Motion
Photoshop Tool Practice
The first image (left) is a practice photo given in order for us to practice using certain Photoshop tools to remove a certain aspect or object from a photo. The left image is the terrible edit I came up with. :)
Motion with Shutter-Speed
Here was my model for the day! :)
In row 1, you will see one of Abby Mattos' famous cartwheels. In row 2, however, Abby experienced her first ever forward roll. In both sets of photos, fast shutter-speed was used in order to achieve a certain sharpness. The shutter speed mainly used in these photos was 1/2' and 1/25'.
For these photos i got very close to the subjects of the photos, and I remained level to the subjects. For the black and white images, the shutter speed i used was 4'. However for the color photo, the shutter speed I used was 6'. I used a medium level for ISO and WB for these three photos, but on the faster shutter speed images, I used a higher ISO and WB. In the center photo, the action I froze was a spinning rainbow wheel. In all three photos, strong colors were present, and contrast from the plain white background.
Painting with Light
Feature Photograph Before and After
I cropped the image to start, and then adjusted the hue and saturation to make the colors mainly light blue, green, and red.
Feature Photograph: Top Left Image
This image was made by two people holding separate ends of the Christmas lights and swinging them for these waves. The shutter speed was on 8' and achieved this image by holding the camera by hand and getting close to the stage floor. Looking at the photo could make the viewer see a DNA strand or possibly other images.
